Living by the Lunar Month

From new moon to full and back, the Moon offers a gentle monthly rhythm for intention and release.

Every twenty-nine and a half days the Moon completes its cycle of phases. For thousands of years people have used this rhythm to plant, to gather and to mark the passing of time. It can still be a gentle guide for our inner life.

Full Moon

Last Quarter and the waning Moon

As the light decreases, it is time to release what is complete, rest and reflect before the next beginning.
