Writing Your Goal Card
A small card, read twice a day, can carry a big intention into the deeper mind.
A goal card is simply your worthy ideal written on a small card that you carry with you. It is one of the most practical tools for impressing a new idea upon the mind.
How to write it
Write in the present tense, as if your goal is already true. Begin with gratitude: “I am so happy and grateful now that…” Be specific enough to picture it clearly, and keep it short enough to read in a breath or two.
Repetition with feeling
Read your card each morning and each evening, slowly and with feeling. Repetition and emotion are how new ideas settle into the habit mind, the same way old patterns formed.
Gender: choose, then allow
Writing the card is the active side: a clear decision. Reading it daily and trusting it to grow is the receptive side. The Principle of Gender reminds us that both are needed.
A practice
Write your goal card tonight. Put it where you will see it first thing tomorrow: by your bed, in your wallet or on your phone’s lock screen.
