A Gentle Morning, a Restful Evening
How we begin and end each day shapes everything in between.
The first and last minutes of a day carry more weight than their length suggests. A few calm, intentional moments at each end can steady everything in between.
A gentle morning
Before reaching for your phone, take a few slow breaths. Read your goal card. Ask one question from the four-element check-in: how is my body, what am I feeling, what am I thinking, what do I want to begin? Glance at the day’s sky if you enjoy it.
A restful evening
In the evening, write three things you are grateful for and one sentence about the day. Read your goal card again. Let screens rest a little before you do.
Rhythm, not rules
These are invitations, not obligations. The Principle of Rhythm suggests that a simple, repeated pattern is far more powerful than an elaborate routine kept occasionally.
A practice
Choose one small morning step and one small evening step. Keep them for seven days and notice how your days feel.
