Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through our websites and members area, why we collect it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Who we are
Align With Your Divine is the trading name of Charlotte Himsworth, who is the data controller for the personal information described here. This policy covers alignwithyourdivine.com, mindset.alignwithyourdivine.com, health.alignwithyourdivine.com and the members area at members.alignwithyourdivine.com.
Charlotte Himsworth, Align With Your Divine4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London W1T 6EB, United Kingdom

Information Commissioner’s Office registration number: to be added.
2. What we collect and why
When you contact us or ask for a conversation
Our forms ask for your name, email address and what you are interested in, and sometimes a short message. We use this to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a free discovery conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, or taking steps at your request before an agreement.
Occasional notes by email
Some forms include a box you can tick to receive occasional notes from Charlotte. We only send these if you tick the box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Our lawful basis is your consent.
The health programme waitlist
The waitlist asks only for your name, email address and what you would most like support with. Please don’t include medical details in our forms; if you’d like to discuss your health, we’ll do so privately and with your consent.
Emails we send you
If you join the members area, we send sign-in links, your invitation, session details and similar service messages. These are needed to provide the service.
3. The members area
If you join a programme, Charlotte invites you to a private members area. To provide it, we hold:
- your name, email address and account status, and when you last visited;
- your progress through the lessons and the weekly practices you tick;
- your Worthy Ideal and journal entries (journal entries are private to you, unless you choose to share a particular entry with Charlotte);
- your birth date, time and place, if you choose to add your natal chart;
- session bookings, requests and RSVPs;
- private notes Charlotte writes after your sessions, which only guides can see;
- anything you post in the community, which other members can see under your first name and initial.
Our lawful basis is the agreement to provide your programme. Your natal chart and community posts are optional, and you can delete them. If you choose to write about your health or other sensitive matters in your journal, we treat that information with extra care and rely on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw by deleting the entry or asking us to.
Some parts of the members area use an AI assistant, and only in the ways described here. The help and writing assistants in Charlotte’s Guide Studio do not receive your journal entries or private notes.
My world and the stories in your courses
In My profile you can choose to tell us a little about your world: your life stage, relationships, home, work, who you care for, what brings you here, and things you love. Every question is optional. We use your answers to choose, or to have the AI assistant write, short fictional stories that help the course ideas feel like your own life. When a story is written for you, the assistant receives your My world answers and the lesson, but never your name, contact details or journal. Stories are kept so they are written only once, and you can change or clear your answers at any time.
When you respond to a story, your response is saved to your private journal. It is shared with Charlotte only if you tick Share with Charlotte.
Helping Charlotte prepare for your sessions
In My profile you can choose to turn on Help Charlotte prepare for our sessions. It is off unless you turn it on. When it is on, your guides can also see your My world answers, the statements you marked Often or Almost always in your course checklists and how they have changed, your intentions and steps, and which stories felt very familiar to you. Before a session, Charlotte may ask the AI assistant to gather this, together with your profile, course progress and any reflections you have shared, into a short private summary so she can listen well.
Some of what you share may relate to your health or wellbeing, which the law treats as especially sensitive. We use it for session preparation only with your explicit consent, which you give by turning this on and can withdraw at any time by turning it off; we then stop using it straight away. Summaries are private to your guides, are never shared with anyone else, and are never used to label or diagnose you or to make any decision about you. You can ask to see or delete any summary at any time.
4. The free natal chart
The free chart on alignwithyourdivine.com is calculated entirely in your own browser. Your birth details are not sent to us or stored by us. When you search for your birthplace, the place name you type is sent to Photon, a place-search service operated by komoot using OpenStreetMap data, to find its coordinates.
5. Campaign counting
When you arrive from one of our social media posts, the link may carry a short campaign tag. Our websites then count, anonymously, that a visit came from that campaign, and whether a form was sent during that visit. We do not use cookies for this and we do not record your name, email address or IP address with these counts. The tag is kept in your browser’s session storage only until you close the tab, so a visit can be counted once. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which of our posts are helpful.
6. Cookies and device storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only:
- Theme preference (a cookie and local storage named awyd-theme, kept for a year): remembers whether you chose the light or classic look.
- Members sign-in (a secure cookie, kept for up to 30 days): keeps you signed in to the members area. It is essential for the service.
- Session storage: remembers a campaign tag during a single visit, as described above.
- Local storage in the members area: briefly remembers which page you were heading to if you were asked to sign in, so we can take you there afterwards.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them.
7. Who helps us
We use carefully chosen service providers to run our websites. They process information only on our instructions:
- Netlify: hosts our websites, receives form submissions and hosts the members-area database (in its London region).
- Resend: delivers the emails we send.
- Anthropic, through Netlify’s AI features: powers the writing, social media and help assistants in Charlotte’s Guide Studio, the stories written for members from their My world answers, and, only for members who have turned on Help Charlotte prepare, private session summaries. It processes this information on our behalf and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models.
- Stripe: if you pay for a course online, Stripe processes your payment securely. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. We receive your name, your email address and what you bought, so that we can enrol you and send your welcome.
- Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with them: they confirm who you are and share your name, your email address and an account identifier, so that we can recognise you. We never receive your password or anything else from your account. With Sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your email address.
- The Proctor Gallagher Institute, for Thinking Into Results: if you apply for a founding place, we keep your application (your name, email, optional phone number and your answers) so that Charlotte can reply to you personally. If you then enrol, your enrolment, payment and lessons are handled on the Institute’s own website, under their terms and privacy policy.
- A Note from Your Divine, our daily email: if you sign up, we keep your first name, email address and time zone so we can send the note at 7am where you are. We only begin once you confirm by email, and every note has a one-click unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe, no further notes are sent. Notes are sent through our email provider, Resend.
- Google (fonts) and komoot (Photon place search), as described above.
- When Charlotte uses voice input in her Guide Studio, her browser’s own speech service (for example Google’s or Apple’s) turns her speech into text.
Some of these providers are based in, or may process information in, the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the lawful safeguards the provider offers, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum.
We never sell your personal information.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Members area: for the length of your programme and up to two years afterwards, so you can return to your journal and Charlotte can support you if you come back. After that, or sooner if you ask, we delete it or make it anonymous.
- Email consent: until you unsubscribe.
- Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes (or 7 days for an invitation) and cannot be reused.
- Campaign counts are anonymous totals and may be kept as statistics.
We may keep a small amount of information for longer where the law requires it, for example business and tax records.
9. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
To use any of these rights, email hello@alignwithyourdivine.com. We’ll reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.
10. Security
Our sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). The members area uses one-time sign-in links instead of passwords, stores sign-in tokens only in scrambled (hashed) form, and limits access to private information to Charlotte and her guides.
11. Children
Our programmes and members area are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
