The Declaration

Everything here begins with a few simple truths. They are not rules to follow, but remembrances: of who we are, of the road we all share, and of the light that waits for every one of us.

From them spring the values that guide this work. Read slowly, and take whatever lifts you.

Seven truths

It is known

  1. We are souls, undergoing a worldly experience.
  2. Every human is born on purpose, with purpose, and that purpose is unique to each of us.
  3. All men and women are children of the one creative force, irrespective of time, place, culture, belief, affiliation or any other circumstance. There are no exceptions.
  4. Life is difficult for everybody. No man or woman has ever looked back from their deathbed and said, “Well, that was easy.” Trials, tribulations and even trauma are common to all who have lived.
  5. Despite the distractions, the difficulties, the loss and the fear, we are resilient. When we rise in the spirit of He who created all, we see with new eyes. We are born anew, into a newfound world.
  6. Those who have suffered the most have often become the spiritual leaders whose light shines the path for those who still suffer.
  7. We are capable of immense love and gratitude; our service to humanity is never in vain; and what we once looked upon with disdain, met with loving acceptance, may become the very root from which our tree grows strong, blooms and blossoms.

Part one · Where we come from

Souls on a worldly journey

“It is known that we are souls, undergoing a worldly experience.”

Before we were anyone’s daughter or son, before a name, a job or a history, we were something no circumstance can touch. Bodies grow and tire, roles change, and our stories are rewritten many times. Beneath it all, a quiet presence remains: the one who notices, who loves and who longs.

To remember this is not to escape the world, but to walk through it differently: lighter, kinder to ourselves, and less afraid.

Our valueReverence We honour the inner life of every person.

Part one · Where we come from

Born on purpose, with purpose

“It is known that every human is born on purpose, with purpose, and that purpose is specific to the individual.”

No one arrives by accident. Your particular mix of gifts, sensitivities, struggles and longings is not a muddle to be fixed. It is a shape, and it fits a place in the world that no one else can fill.

Purpose is rarely found in a single flash. More often it unfolds one honest step at a time, as we notice what lights us up and what we cannot stop caring about.

Our valuePurpose We help each person find their own, never someone else’s.

Part one · Where we come from

Children of the creative force, without exception

“All men and women are children of the one creative force, irrespective of time, geographical location, culture, beliefs, affiliations or any other circumstantial factor. There are no exceptions to this rule.”

Every person who has ever lived, in every land and every age, of every faith and of none, shares the same divine parentage. No mistake, no shame, no history and no difference places anyone outside that family.

When we truly see this, comparison loses its grip. We stop ranking ourselves above or below others, and meet each person, ourselves included, with the respect owed to family.

Our valueBelonging Everyone is welcome here, and everyone is worthy.

Part two · The road we share

Life is difficult for everybody

“No man or woman has ever looked back upon their life from their deathbed and exclaimed, “Well, that was easy.””

If your life has been hard, you have not failed at living. You have simply lived. Loss, fear, illness, heartbreak and even trauma visit every life sooner or later. They are part of the human story, not proof that something is wrong with you.

There is comfort in this. The stranger beside you on the train, the friend who seems to have it all together: each carries something heavy. We are not alone in the struggle. We are in it together.

Our valueCompassion We meet every person where they are, without judgement or shame.

Part two · The road we share

We rise, and see with new eyes

“When we arise in the spirit of He who created all, we begin to see with new eyes. We are born anew to a newfound world.”

Again and again, people come through what they once believed would break them. Not unchanged, but deepened. Something in us keeps reaching for the light, the way a seedling bends towards the sun.

When we turn towards the One who made us, the same circumstances begin to look different. What felt like an ending becomes a turning point, and the world we wake into is newly ours.

Our valueHope No one is ever beyond renewal.

Part two · The road we share

Wounds that become light

“Those who’ve suffered the greatest have often been the spiritual leaders whose light has shone bright the path for those who still suffer.”

Look closely at the people who have helped humanity most, and you will often find great suffering in their stories. Pain met with courage and faith can become wisdom, and wisdom, shared, becomes a lamp for others.

Your hardest chapter may one day be what lets you sit beside someone in the dark and say, truthfully: “I know. I have been there. There is a way through.”

Our valueService What we have lived through, we offer to others.

Part three · Coming home

The root of the tree

“That which we may have looked upon with disdain at one time is met with a loving acceptance, and may be the very root from which our own tree grows strong, blooms and blossoms.”

There are parts of every story we once wished away: the losses, the mistakes, the years we would rather forget. Seen with loving eyes, they change. They become roots, hidden and humble, holding us steady and drawing up what we need to grow.

We are capable of immense love and gratitude, even for the hard things. And our service to others is never in vain: nothing given in love is ever wasted.

Our valueAcceptance and gratitude Every part of us can become part of our strength.
